Looking to hob-knob with the world’s elite on your next vacation? Consider a stay at one of these top hotels most frequented by multi-millionaires.
According to new report from New World Wealth, individuals with a net worth of at least $10 million like to spend their time in some of the world’s most well-known party destinations around the world including Las Vegas—with three hotels in the top 10 and New York City with two.
Though the list includes international populations, seven out of 10 hotels are located in the U.S.
High net worth Americans—defined as having upwards of $5 million in the bank—spend between $10,000 and $24,999 annually on a vacation, according to Spectrem’s Millionaire Corner. But this pales in comparison to the 3 percent that shell out between $50,000 – $99,000, more than the average individual annual salary.
The study is based on data collected from 20,000 multi-millionaires, and tracked hotel stays between June 2013 and June of this year.
In New York, the Waldorf Astoria is home to a $10,000 a night Presidential suite – aptly named since every President since Hoover has visited the multi-room complex—requires a background check for occupants.
But don’t worry—not all of these hotels have astronomical rates. A room at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas can be yours for as little as $179 a night during off season—just don’t expect the same service as the Titus and Marcus Aurelius villas which each start at $25,000 a night.
